Thanks to the strategic educational partnership of Microsoft and UCLA, UCLAWUG has just completed a "merge" with the UCLA Linux Users Group. Winstallfest 2000: If you would like us to install Windows on your computer, bring it in to Boelter Hall room 3811 at UCLA on April 8, 2000 sometime between 11:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. We're proud to announce that we've secured a special Windows 2000 educational discount from Microsoft for all UCLA students. We will be selling upgrades from Windows 98 for $99.95 and new installs for $149.95. Once you purchase the software, the installation itself is completely free! There will also be a raffle of a WinCE running Microsoft WinCE and a complimentary license for Microsoft Windows 2000 Professional. New User Night: Wednesday, April 12, 2000 at 6:00 p.m. in Boelter Hall room 3811 at UCLA.
