I've read all replies and want to say "Thanks" for all of your.
I think the most suitable for my needs is PostgreSQL or Oracle8i.
As i understand they are in different classes.
PostgreSQL is medium server with acceptable possibilities and medium
system requirements.Question:
- How easy will it be to organize interfece of WinXX with it (ODBC or
smth like that);
Oracle8i is too heavy with great system requirements but with a lot of
possibilities. Question:
- Is there a less heavy realization of it for linux and is it free? :)
Dmitry.
