[UCLA-LUG] cheap linux laptop reco?

I honestly cannot recommend a low end laptop, as I have not used one in some
time.  However, there is a Linux on Laptops page at
http://www.cs.utexas.edu/users/kharker/linux-laptop/
which has information for just about any laptop I've ever seen.
