I just talked to someone in CS111 and they told me that for the class, Prof. Guy had instructed them to install RedHat 6.0 with its kernel version. According to Guy, problems arose for the projects in the class with the kernels in newer versions of Redhat. If this is so, perhaps there should be some 6.0 CD's lying around in case a CS111 person wants to install it. Just a suggestion. -thomas
