No.  I too get a bit annoyed, especially with a quota hanging over my head.
Personally, I usually don't make any noise about it because I'd figure the
perpetrator would eventually learn the polite method, and I'm too lazy (and
forgiving) to fire up a lart.

Agggh.  I should get around to that, grab a copy of one of those several
hundred different articles all over the web on netiquette, consolidate them,
and post it on the LUG's web page, or at least the list's homepage.

FWIW, the list software intercepts mails over a certain size so that random
large binary objects won't slip through.
