Hi. I posted the following message a few days ago. I still don't know
how to fix this, and the machine can't really serve its intended purpose
without ppp. żDoes anyone know how to fix this? Thanks. Here's my
original message:

I'm setting up a RedHat 6.0 box for a friend of mine who's
notcomputer-savvy. I'm setting up a KDE environment for him (not as easy
or as stable as i thought). I've tried to set up kppp, but i get the
following error dialog when i try:

        pppd is not properly installed!
The pppd binary must be installed with the
        SUID bit set.

The file permissions for /usr/sbin/pppd seem correct. kppp also works
correctly for the superuser. How do i fix this?

Thanks,
