[UCLA-LUG] Weird coincidence

Hi:

Couple months ago, right after upgrading to RH6 (from 5.2), my hard
drive crashed.  I bought a new one, reinstall RH6, and now it has
crashed again.  When i boot, i get 3 possible messages:

1. Primary hard drive fail.
2. Error 0x01
3. Or, if i get to lilo, a fail message when checking the file system.

I think the first two messages mean that my hard drive is screwed and i
need to replace it.  But the weird part is that in both crashes, if i
start windows (at the lilo prompt), the computer starts and scandisk
does not detect any problem.  Has anybody had similar problems?
