[UCLA-LUG] Dsl network setup

My internet works fine now except when it X starts after I log in, there is
a prompt that says something bout might having to add something to
/etc/hosts.....what is it? I checked my /etc/hosts file and it's empty

run netconfig, or use linuxconf and set the ip (specify static) set your
gateway, and your dns servers...
make sure to run netconfig or linuxconf as root or it won't work...
