No, no. I really think people ought to care about dorm network policies,
especially people living in the dorms. I only meant to show that the STC
doesn't exactly remove all your 'legal' networking options from you. And,
for the record, I completely agree with your position on the STC's fascist
policies. I simply don't think a discussion about them belongs
on this list. I will be the first person to sign up to help (peacefully)
change the STC's policies -- you already know that. I just don't want to
involve the entire LUG in it.

I've always known you as a reasonable and rational person (and handy with
sendmail as well!). I just worried that you might inadvertantly drag the
LUG into a battle which we both agree it shouldn't fight. Obviously you
don't want to do this, so I suggest that we go to a more appropriate group
(or form one if we need to) in order to resolve this issue.

cool. I'm glad you realized that the fundraiser thing wasn't appropriate.
I don't think it would have made us look very good to the rest of campus.

I was mainly talking about the STC, so otherwise, I don't think a whole
lot of people dislike us. Maybe I'm crazy, but sometimes I feel that
there is a bit of a negative attitude towards UCLA on this list. If this
is so, I'd like to see that change... Or I could just be crazy :)
