According to www.cto.ucla.edu (which appears to have been designed by
someone with a net connection a little too fast for their own good), October
23 and November 6 are pretty much clear. October 23 has nothing scheduled,
and November 6 just has a "Men's and Women's Basketball Preview Day",
starting at either noon or 4 p.m. (depending on which part of their web site
you choose to believe). The other dates I mentioned have major games.

I have no idea how we could even begin to estimate attendance without some
sort of web signup form, much like you've done in the past for CSUA events.
But we can't do that until we have a date and a room lined up. Perhaps we
could pick a date, reserve a room that might possibly be too big (like Moore
100), and then request mandatory (free) web registration from all potential
attendees. That'll give us some idea of who's attending and from where.
Equipped with that information, we could tackle the parking situation. Note
that the LUG currently has no funds.
