Dan,
When I reserved a room for Microsoft I spoke to Jackie Trang, the CS Dept.
Chair's administrative assistant. I can always speak to her again to
reserve another room. One thing to note is that for VA Research it would
be nice if we could invite people from outside of UCLA. That way we
_could_ fill up a room like Moore 100 (which happens to be the room I got
for the Microsoft event). Other arrangements would include advertising on
the LUG's and CSUA's part as well looking into things like food. I am not
certain if VA will reimburse us for catering, so funds need to be taken
into account as well. The *most important* thing right now is to decide
on a couple of dates (in order of preference). These should be carefully
considered to maximize attendance and overall success. What I need is
some dates people would like, and I need them very soon. Once I have
those I can look into getting a room.
