The Linux Users Group at UCLA (LUG@UCLA) is a student-run organization at UCLA comprised of hobbyists. We are dedicated to helping anyone who is interested in Linux.
We offer Install-fests to help get Linux running on your computer, as well as info-sessions to further knowledge of computers. Click here for an introduction to Linux, and read about various Linux distributions if you want to have it on your computer.
Most of our equipment has been donated to us or has been purchased by members. If you're willing to help us buy the things we need, please click the “Donate” button below.
The LUG@UCLA lounge exists as a forum for interested students to discuss assignments, projects, and computers in general. It is located at 3820 Boelter Hall on UCLA campus and open during daytime on weekdays when classes are in session.
We're open to new members and no fee or invitation is required to join. Fill out the membership application form and stop by LUG@UCLA lounge to drop off the printed and signed copy.
